Data Deletion

The Olive Cove Private Limited respects your right to request deletion of personal data that we hold about you.
If you have interacted with The Olive Cove or The Olive Party through WhatsApp, Instagram, email, our website, an enquiry form or an event booking, you may request that we delete personal data associated with you.
How to request deletion

In your email, please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records. This may include:
- Your full name
- Mobile or WhatsApp number
- Email address
- Event date, if applicable
- Enquiry or booking reference number, if available
You do not need to provide information that is unrelated to your request.
What happens after we receive your request
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
Once your identity and request have been verified, we will review the personal data associated with you and delete or anonymise information that we no longer need to retain.
This may include information stored in our:
- Customer relationship management system
- WhatsApp conversation records
- Enquiry and booking records
- Uploaded files and artwork
- Event-operation records
- Internal notes and follow-up records
Information we may need to retain
We may not be able to immediately delete certain information where retention is reasonably required for purposes such as:
- Accounting and financial record-keeping
- Existing contractual obligations
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims
- Resolving disputes
- Preventing fraud or misuse
- Other legitimate business purposes permitted by applicable law
Where only part of a record must be retained, we will take reasonable steps to restrict its use to the relevant purpose.
WhatsApp, Meta and other third-party platforms
Deleting information from The Olive Cove's internal systems does not necessarily delete information independently held by third-party services such as WhatsApp, Meta, Instagram, Google or other platforms.
Where applicable, you may also need to use the privacy or deletion tools provided by those services directly.
Confirmation
After we complete your request, we may confirm that the deletion request has been processed or advise you if certain information must continue to be retained.
