A fun, hands-on pottery experience designed specially for children 5 years old and up!

In this guided session, little creators will explore the joy of clay through pinch pots. No pottery wheel, just their hands, tools, imagination, and curiosity. It’s all about play, expression, and confidence-building in a relaxed and encouraging space.

What to Expect

In this 2.5-hour workshop, your child will:

• Work with real porcelain clay. It's smooth, silky, and wonderfully forgiving.
• Shape and pinch their own little vessel, using only their hands.
• Paint and decorate their piece with colourful underglazes for a one-of-a-kind finish.

Each session is kept small and personal so every child gets hands-on attention and guidance. There is no restriction on what can be made, as long as it is within 12x12x12cm. 

Before We Start

Short nails = happy clay! Long nails can dig in or scratch the clay. Please clip or file nails before class for the best results.

What to Wear

Comfy, casual clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. Clay washes off easily with water, so no worries if fingers or sleeves get mucky. That’s part of the fun!

After the Workshop

We’ll glaze and fire each piece for you. Finished creations will be ready for collection in about 6 weeks from the workshop date. Please collect them from The Olive Cove within one month thereafter.

Early bird (by 28 Nov): $75 per pax
Regular rate: $85 per pax. Sign up as a pair for $80 per pax.

A Note on Handmade

Clay has a personality of its own. Each piece may shrink, curve, or form a tiny crack in firing. It's all part of handmade charm and proof of your child’s unique touch.
